Foothills in the Rain

This painting was created during the height of the Corona virus pandemic, when everyone had to isolate. I found solace in being outside, even though the summer was very hot.

I went to the foothills, and it miraculously started to rain. I almost cried because it was such a relief from my fear and from the heat. I knew then I would be okay.

I created this painting in response to that.
