Momiji is the Japanese word for a kind of Japanese maple. This painting was created during the height of the Corona virus pandemic.

I had to be isolated from my parents, but we finally got together one summer, outside while distanced from each other, right next to a beautiful red Japanese maple.

Momiji Renewal was created to celebrate this moment.
